Reposting is welcome — please do three things

Credit the author and the source: East Rises, West Sets, first published at larryqi.com;
Keep or state the link to the original;
Do not remove or alter the byline, and do not repost a rewritten version under someone else's name.

Personal blogs, non-commercial reading notes, reviews, and reasonable quotation for teaching (with attribution) need no permission in advance.

Without written permission, you may not

use the text for any commercial purpose: paid reading, paid communities, ad revenue, courses, print publication;
make adaptations: audiobooks, film, television, stage, games;
bulk-copy the whole book onto another platform or site.

About the work

The book is drawn from the author's own experience. Most personal and company names are real; two employer companies appear under assumed names (SinoEagleLeopard, Toshiba Information Equipment). If any party named has a concern about the business details, please contact the author.

If the copyright is infringed

The author will first ask the reposter to add the credit or take the text down. If that is refused, the matter goes to platform complaints, a letter from a lawyer, or litigation.
